Rüştü Kazım Yücelen Vocational Training Center, which was established in cooperation with Yücelen Education, Culture and Health Foundation and Mersin Provincial Directorate of National Education, was established to develop the vocational skills of young people and support their education. The center, which was completed and donated to the Ministry of National Education, provides services with an innovative education approach.
The education center provides both theoretical and practical knowledge by offering the opportunity to receive a high school diploma to young people who could not complete a high school education and had to start working life early. Students who receive a total of 12 hours of theoretical training once a week benefit from comprehensive programs offered in 34 professions and 187 occupational branches.
The center, which consists of 8 classrooms and a total of 24 independent sections, adopts an approach that not only provides vocational skills but also encourages innovative thinking and creativity in students. The education center aims to contribute to individual and social development by providing young people with the opportunity to adapt to the business world, gain practical experience and equip themselves with the qualifications appropriate to the requirements of the age.
Rüştü Kazım Yücelen Vocational Training Center is a concrete indicator of the importance Yücelen Foundation attaches to education, with its vision of enabling individuals to gain a strong foundation in education and professional life.
