The documents requested from you for your scholarship applications are listed below. Our students whose scholarships are ongoing need to renew their documents. You need to send the documents listed below with a wet signature in a file belonging to your name to the Foundation Center Address or to our Foundation Ankara Representative Office.

Requested Documents

  1. The scholarship application form must be signed in wet ink,
  2. A photocopy of the front and back of the Turkish Republic ID card,
  3. Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) Result Document, (Document showing success rankings/scores across Türkiye according to score types) (e-government)
  4. A copy of the YKS Result Document showing the higher education institution he/she was placed in (e-government),
  5. Student certificate showing the class he/she will attend (e-government),
  6. For those studying in intermediate grades, a transcript showing the courses taken during their education, their grades, and their overall grade point average (e-government) (if it cannot be obtained from e-government, it must be obtained with approval from the relevant educational institution.)
  7. Document showing that students who are moving from the preparatory class to the 1st grade have successfully passed the preparatory class (e-government) (If it cannot be obtained from the e-government, it must be obtained with approval from the relevant educational institution.)
  8. Criminal record statement (e-government),
  9. KYK Credit/Scholarship Status Document,
  10. A copy of the population registration certificate (a document issued in the name of the mother or father showing all family members) (e-government),
  11. Residence and Other Address Document showing the place of residence of the family (e-government),
  12. Documents showing the financial situation of the family:

12.1. For employees;

On behalf of both mother and father,

  1. If he is a civil servant https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/e-bordro-sorgulama?bordro=Listesi screenshot to be taken from the web address,
  2. If you are a private sector employee, a stamped and signed current salary slip from your workplace.
  3. A photocopy of the income tax return for freelancers.

12.2. For retirees;

By retirement category https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/4a-emekli-aylik-bilgisi or https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/4b-emekli-aylik-bilgisi screenshot to be taken from the web address,

12.3. For mothers and fathers who are engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry;

Product/animal assets and income status statement (e-government) (After logging in to e-government, the relevant document can be reached by typing the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry/Farmer Registration System Document in the search bar.)

12.4. For those who have no income;

“Income Certificate” from SGK in the name of the head of the family,

 

12.5. Photocopies of documents showing other income,

  1. A statement showing the assets registered in the name of the parents,
  2. https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/tapu-bilgileri-sorgulama Screenshots of the documents showing the registered assets, which will be taken separately for the mother and father from the web address,
  3. Document showing the existence of a vehicle registered in the name of the parents (vehicle query on e-government security).

12.6. Those whose livelihood is provided by a person other than their parents; the financial status document of this person must be attached to the application,

12.7. If the house you live in is rented, a photocopy of the rental agreement,

12.8. If the student is staying in a dormitory, a document from the institution where he/she is studying stating that he/she is staying in a dormitory.

  1. A signed explicit consent statement is required in accordance with the KVKK Information Text.

This directive regulates the scope, conditions and application principles regarding the non-refundable scholarships provided by YÜCELEN FOUNDATION within the framework of the Foundation's understanding of social responsibility, in order to support successful students who are studying full-time in Higher Education Institutions, secondary education-vocational and technical education institutions and whose family support is insufficient to continue their education.

Frequently asked questions about YÜCELEN FOUNDATION non-refundable scholarship support;

  1. Who is awarded a scholarship?

    • Yücelen Foundation non-refundable scholarship support is provided to students who need financial support during their undergraduate and secondary education within the borders of the Republic of Turkey and who meet the application requirements.
  2. What documents should be attached to the application form?

    • After completing the application form, which is active on the application dates, the application process is completed by sending the current transcript obtained from the educational institution (can be obtained from the e-government system) and other requested documents to the Foundation Center and/or Foundation Representative Office address. Applications made before the requested documents reach the Foundation are considered invalid.
  3. What are the points to be considered in the application form?

    • If the information and documents in the application form are found to be incomplete or incorrect, the student's scholarship application will be deemed invalid. If it is determined that the scholarship holders whose applications were approved made false statements in their applications, the scholarship payment will be stopped and the previously made payments will be requested from the scholarship holder.
  4. Under what conditions will the application not be taken into consideration?

    • Applications of candidates who do not meet the application conditions or who are found to have made false statements are deemed invalid.
  5. Can students who receive loan support from the Credit and Dormitories Institution apply?

    • Receiving credit support from the Credit and Dormitories Institution does not constitute an obstacle to applying.
  6. When and how are application results announced?

    • As a result of the evaluation carried out in the last week of September, candidates who pass the preliminary stage are contacted via e-mail and additional documents supporting the statements made in the application form are requested. Applications of candidates whose statements in the application form are found to be inconsistent with the requested documents are deemed invalid.
  7. What are the documents required for the scholarship application?

    • From the candidates who applied with the Application Form and passed the pre-selection;

      1. The scholarship application form must be signed in wet ink,
      2. C. Photocopy of the front and back of the ID card,
      3. Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) Result Document, (Document showing success rankings/scores across Türkiye according to score types) (e-government)
      4. A copy of the YKS Result Document showing the higher education institution he/she was placed in (e-government),

        • Product/animal assets and income status breakdown for mothers and fathers engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry (e-government),
        • For those who have no income, a “Non-Income Certificate” from the Social Security Institution in the name of the head of the family,
        • Photocopies of documents showing other income:
          • A statement showing the assets registered in the name of the parents,
          • Documents showing the assets to be obtained from the title deed information inquiry web address,
          • Document showing the existence of a vehicle registered in the name of the parents (E-government).
        • Those whose livelihood is provided by someone other than their parents; this person's financial status document must be attached to the application,
        • If the house you live in is rented, a photocopy of the rental agreement,
        • If the student lives in a dormitory, a document from the institution where he/she studies stating that he/she lives in a dormitory.
      13. A signed explicit consent statement is required in accordance with the KVKK Information Text.

      Applications of candidates whose documents are found to be inconsistent with their statements in the application form will be deemed invalid.

  8. How to deliver the requested documents?

    • If no deficiencies are detected in the documents requested via e-mail from candidates who pass the preliminary stage, the originals of all documents sent via e-mail with wet signatures/e-signatures and/or stamps are requested to be sent via post to the Foundation's head office and/or representative address.
  9. When are scholarship payments made?

    • Scholarship payments are made for 10 months between September and June. Students who receive scholarship support are not paid in July and August.
  10. What are the requirements for the duration and continuation of the scholarship support?

    • The scholarship period starts from the start date of the scholarship and lasts for the normal duration of the program in which the scholarship holder is studying.
    • If a student takes a semester leave, the scholarship is suspended; however, the same scholarship is reinstated when the university notifies him/her that he/she has registered to the university.
    • If one or more of the conditions listed below apply, scholarships will be terminated:
      • Those who do not meet the scholarship application requirements,
      • Repeating a class or semester,
      • Those who are disconnected from the university due to reasons such as cancellation of registration, graduation, or who change their educational institution without the approval of the Foundation management,
      • Declaring that he/she has given up on receiving a scholarship,
      • Those who receive a scholarship in the form of monthly cash payments from sources other than the Yücelen Foundation during the period they receive a scholarship from the Foundation (excluding the student loan received from the Credit and Dormitories Institution),
      • Those who received disciplinary punishment,
      • Arrested,
      • Making false statements,
      • If the requested documents are not submitted on time,
      • Students whose education has been temporarily suspended or who have taken a semester leave,
      • Deceased.
  11. What is required for continued scholarship support?

    • The updated Student and Transcript documents requested at the end of each academic year must be sent to the Foundation's headquarters and/or representative office by the end of September. Scholarship support will be cut off for scholarship holders who do not send their documents or who are found not to meet the scholarship requirements in the documents they send.
  12. What is required to restart scholarship support after it has been cut off?

    • Continuation of the terminated scholarship may be possible if certain conditions are met.
  13. Can the Scholarship Guidelines and scope be changed?

    • Actions to be taken regarding matters not covered by the Directive are under the authority of the Board of Directors and the scholarship directive can be changed at any time.

Yücelen Foundation non-refundable scholarship support is provided to students who need financial support during their undergraduate and secondary education within the borders of the Republic of Turkey and who meet the application requirements.
